Carpet sterilization

In cooperation with ZVKDS – Center for Conservation – we also perform ANOXI sterilization of carpets (moths or eggs, larvae, caterpillars of moths in carpets), which is the only 100% reliable method for the complete destruction of moths in carpets. The carpet goes into a chamber, from which oxygen is removed and nitrogen gas is gradually added, the process takes about 6 weeks.

Intervention program:

• making a soft chamber from gas-tight material
• placing objects in the chamber and sealing
• creating an ANOXI atmosphere by adding gas
• real-time measurements and controls
• refueling and maintenance of gas concentration (minimum 42 days)
